"With Truckonline, the transition to 4G was seamless and smooth"
09/10/2025
Angélique LE PÉRON talks about the successful transition to 4G thanks to the installation of the new TruckBoxes, as well as the collaboration with Truckonline teams, which has been underway for over ten years.

What does the BIORET Group do?
Angélique LE PÉRON: Groupe Bioret is a major player in the French transport sector, with over 500 tractors. It brings together several complementary companies - PECH, TER, TBR and In'TERPECH - which cover different geographical areas to ensure effective national coverage. In addition, BAG Trans and TSF Provence specialize in refrigerated transport. With almost 750 committed employees and sales approaching 100 million euros, the Bioret Group is a reliable and professional partner for its customers' logistics needs.
Let's talk about a topical issue: 4G?
ALP: 4G was a real challenge for the transport sector, particularly in terms of changing the boxes. We were able to make this transition without disrupting our business thanks to Truckonline's foresight and the development of TruckBox V2. With over ten years of successful collaboration behind us, their ability to react was an advantage and a decisive factor in this deployment.
So everything went smoothly?
ALP: Between July and December 2024, our entire fleet was gradually equipped, with deployment completed at the end of December. The rigorous planning and reliability of the equipment, confirmed on over 60 tractors already equipped, were decisive factors. Everything was perfectly organized, with the new boxes delivered on time, enabling us to organize a rigorous schedule and carry out the installations ourselves, without unnecessarily immobilizing our teams or vehicles. Then there was a real follow-up on their part to make sure that the system was working properly and that data feedback was trouble-free.
How would you describe your relationship and the support you provide?
ALP: It's all very simple. I think our collaboration really goes beyond the customer-supplier framework. Our relationship is based on a regular exchange that enables us to find the best solutions. It's a win-win partnership. I like the way they operate. We're a customer-partner, in the sense that we pass on information and suggestions, and take part, at our level, in developing tools and moving forward together. What's more, the teams are easy to contact and responsive.
What do these tools do for you?
ALP: Before the technological aspect, I would say that Truckonline has developed ergonomic tools. These are intuitive solutions that are very easy to use. Then, the fact that everything is centralized in a dedicated space saves time and makes it easier to use. Next, I'd say that La Bonne Prépaie is a service we couldn't do without, the geolocation of course, and the driver app. Their technologies are designed to increase efficiency and productivity, and limit time-consuming operations.
These three solutions are essential?
ALP: Each of these tools has its own purpose. A service like la Bonne Prépaie is simply indispensable. In a sector like ours, it enables us to obtain a precise record of service times, for example, and to know exactly what their activity is. With nearly 700 drivers, it's a real time-saver. It's a complete solution that combines organization and compliance with the legal framework. Geolocation, for its part, is obviously essential: it enables us to track the progress of our tractions and their location in real time. It's also an asset for the Bioret Group and our customers. If one of them wants to know where his load is, we can give him the information immediately. Finally, as far as the driver app is concerned, messaging, eco-driving and data sending are particularly interesting features to ensure simple, practical and constant communication with a driver.
Any final words?
ALP: Today, these tools enable us to communicate, exchange ideas and manage the pre-payment process. They've become an indispensable part of our daily lives. And I know that tomorrow with Truckonline, they'll be even more powerful, especially with the arrival of AI.
