Why did you choose TRUCKONLINE?

Philippe LÉGÉ: A few years ago, Transports Jolival, part of the Jolival Group, needed to completely rethink their on-board IT system. To do this, we met with a number of companies, including TRUCKONLINE.

What does Transports Jolival do?

PL : The company was founded in 1948, in Maine-et-Loire (49). Transports Jolival is a benchmark in road haulage and logistics. We offer services in France and abroad. To do so, we can rely on our long experience and our 190 employees. Whether it's a single pallet or a full load, we offer solutions tailored to our customers' needs. We not only handle general cargo, but also dangerous goods, temperature-controlled goods and waste transport.

Why did you choose TRUCKONLINE?

PL: There are two simple reasons. Firstly, they met our requirements. We had drawn up a specification setting out what we were looking for in terms of equipment and solutions. And their proposal caught our attention. But beyond the purely technological and service aspects, we really needed a partner with whom to exchange ideas and who, like us, was capable of evolving and adapting over time when necessary. This was a major factor in our choice, as the TRUCKONLINE teams are always ready to make suggestions, and there's a real sense of collaboration between them and us. Not to mention the relationship aspect.

What do you mean by that?

PL: It's very easy to get in touch with them. We get quick and easy answers to our questions or feedback. We all use services where it's almost impossible to get through to someone, or where we have to wait a long time to get a satisfactory answer. This is different. There's a real follow-up and invaluable exchanges, which meant that our choice was clearly the right one. Their availability and responsiveness make all the difference. What's more, they now have a manager for the Greater West of France. Which adds a much appreciated proximity.

What tools do you use?

PL: Pretty much all of them. Probably one of the most essential services is the web portal. It's a space dedicated to the company that enables us to group together all our information, search our history, manage our activities, store data, reports... It's an ergonomic and fun space that's very easy to learn and use.

What are the advantages of these solutions?

PL: TRUCKONLINE tools are solutions that simplify the company's day-to-day operations and organization at every level: data feedback, activity reports, geolocation of course, route management, communication between the company and drivers... The driver app has become a must-have. It's a real work tool. Gone are the days of paper and pencil; everything is now on the driver's mobile. Since May, we've also been using theE.P Tag on our 180 trailers to locate them. And by the end of the year, we'll be adding the whole social management aspect.

Any final words?

PL: Transports Jolival and TRUCKONLINE operate in parallel, not necessarily at the same time, but together. It's a real partner with whom we have a strong relationship. And that's something we appreciate.
