Focus on
What does TC Transports do?
Pierre-Henri JUHEN: We are a family-owned group with a dozen sites in France, 700 employees and 500 engines, with consolidated sales of 80 million euros. We operate in several sectors, including the automotive industry, waste transport, construction and distribution. We are also members of TRED Union, a group of transporters.
What are the advantages of working with Truckonline?
PHJ: There are several elements. Firstly, there's the innovative aspect, which we like and which corresponds to TC Transports' DNA. Secondly, despite the size of TC Transports, we remain a family-run SME. So we appreciate working with a company on a human scale, because it's like us, and it's easy to communicate with. If we need to contact them, there's always someone available.
How would you describe your customer support?
PHJ: TC Transports has a strong culture of customer support and satisfaction. TRUCKONLINE shares this concern. Like us, they are reactive and seek to be efficient, by staying in touch with their customers. They want to understand what we need. They know our business, so they know how to make suggestions. I'd say we're in the sharing business. They in the field of technology and innovation, and we in our day-to-day experience in the field. It's important to have constructive exchanges. We can speak of rigorous support and follow-up. We hold regular meetings where we define work objectives, share our comments and feedback. They listen to us and take our thoughts into account.
Which features do you use the most?
PHJ: It's hard to pick just one, because they all complement each other and meet a need. But I'd say La Bonne Conduite provides an enormous amount of information and data on driver practices at a time when eco-driving is becoming increasingly important in terms of the environment, safety and savings. What's more, the reliability of the data is very good.
Can you tell us about Truckonline's solutions?
PHJ: These tools are relevant, facilitating and ergonomic. We've had positive feedback from management, human resources and drivers. I'd also like to emphasize the reliability of their physical products, such as the TruckBox. After all, this is on-board equipment, so it's subject to a lot of stress. They are subjected to external aggressions such as cold, heat, rain and vibrations. And yet they are durable and rarely break down.
Any final words?
PHJ: I like the honesty that exists in the relationship we've built up over the years. I think it's all based on transparency and respect. We listen to each other. I don't like the term partnership, so I'd say it's a win-win relationship.
