BAIID: more safety for passengers and your company
The Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device (BAIID) has was made obligatory on January 1, 2010 for all coaches carrying children (i.e. more than 9 people under 18). On er September 1, 2015 the law was extended to all passenger coaches.
Anomalies: be warned
The purpose of the BAIID is preventive. Data recorded about the driver’s alcohol level cannot be consulted, communicated or used. However, as a business owner, you are liable. To reduce risks, we propose a system automatically and remotely connected to the breath-test that sends a notification in case of abnormal results. Having the information means you can investigate the problem and make appropriate decisions.
